Inspired By Meerut Murder? UP Woman Threatens To Chop Up Alcoholic Husband, Seal Him In Drum
Police said the husband is an alcoholic and the couple, who got married five years and have two children, have a troubled relationship due to his addiction

Days after a woman and her lover hacked her husband to death and sealed his body parts inside a drum, another woman from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh has reportedly threatened to do the same to her husband if he did not change his behaviour.
While there is no information if her threats were inspired by the grotesque Muskan-Sahil case, the latest incident was reported from Meerut’s Kanker Khera region.

According to the police, a man approached them to report that his wife had threatened to cut him up and seal his body parts inside a drum if he did not change his behaviour. Times of India reported that Bablu Kumar is an alcoholic and the couple, who got married five years and have two children, have a troubled relationship due to his addiction.
The ToI report said on March 23, the couple had an argument when Bablu was in an inebriated state. He alleged that his wife bit him and, in an unverified video on social media, he is heard saying his wife threatened to hit him with a brick after he woke up late the next morning, it said.
The report further said he then went on to claim that his wife hit him with a brick, injuring him, and threatened to chop him up and seal his body parts in a drum. “When I left home to complain to the police, she reached there before me, and no one paid heed to my grievances," he was quoted.
Station house officer (SHO) Vinay Kumar told ToI that the couple left the police station after reaching a compromise and did not register a complaint. Bablu’s wife has accused him of spending all their money on alcohol and sparing none for household expenses, the officer added.
